October Newsletter

Pivot is Colorado Springs Dance Theatre’s new arts and educational initiative to bring middle and high school children in our community to a professional dance performance with radically reduced ticket costs and free transportation.
  • Pivot kicks off November 1st with over 400 students from area schools attending Ballet Hispanico‘s student matinee performance at the Ent Center for the Arts!

CSDT believes fostering an early appreciation of the arts in future generations is crucial to the sustainability of the broader cultural sector.  By providing the opportunity to see a live performance and ask questions of nationally renowned professionals, Pivot extends CSDT’s mission to promote the art of dance and offers a collaborative way in which our city’s youth can grow to appreciate the importance of art, culture, and community.

Contemporary duo FLOCK will be joining us April 11th to headline our Ascend Choreography Festival. Get to know their work in this stunning collaboration with LEVYfilms.
