Vision

With the addition of Jordan McHenry, our new Executive Director, CSDT has implemented a 3-year strategic plan leading up to its 45th anniversary season to: revitalize our vision, reassess the cultural needs of the Pikes Peak region, and diversify the methods CSDT uses to fulfill those needs. Ultimately, our goal is to better contribute to the landscape of meaningful dance events, educational opportunities and significant community-building efforts in the arts.

 

Although we were once the primary presenter of dance in Colorado Springs for many years, we are now collaborating with UCCS Presents Artist Series to augment the recently established educational aspect of our mission. We’re also continuing our tradition of offering our historic Esther Geoffrey scholarship programs and master classes, but we are widening our impact in the community by developing programming that addresses wider educational and cultural concerns.
